Let's take a walk..

Oh man! Today was just beautiful! We were determined to get out of the house. So we decided to go for a walk at Cramer's Field. It was wonderful. Savannah had a blast running around and Evelyn enjoyed riding in the stroller. We were able to see geese, cranes, and ducks. Which Savannah thought was the coolest thing ever! I wish I had brought my telephoto lense. But we're going to do it again, so I'll be sure to have it next time. Everyone should go. It's a great leasurly walk for the family. Beautiful scenery and I love walking through the woods and hearing nothing but the birds and squirrels. We ended up walking about 4 miles. Yay for exercise! There's lots of pictures. Enjoy. :)

My beauties

She saw me grass whistle and she wanted to try.

Daddy showed her how it's done. lol

This is just beautiful!

Yay for Grandma's...

A couple weeks ago, Savannah was able to spend the night out at my parent's house. And she had a blast! I think this may have to become a monthly thing. Her cousin Chandler was there and that just added to the fun. When I went out to get her I found her and Grandma making rice crispies. Yum! I'm grateful that she has grandparents so close.

Thank Heaven for little girls...

So it's begun. The stage where she gets into EVERYTHING. And she's getting fast with her crawling. Which makes it all the more interesting. :) But I love my babies more than anything.
So I set Evelyn in the living room and ran to the bathroom. I was in there maybe 3 minutes, and when I got out, this is what I found. She acted so proud of herself. It was adorable. Although the garbage bags didn't go back into their box all to well. But that's ok. And ever since, she's been trying to do it again and again. And she's succeeded a few times. The other night, I went to town, and the kids were with Nic. Well Savannah was outside playing, and Nic fell asleep in the chair. So Evelyn was left to her own amusement. And she pulled every single wipe out of the box (I had just filled it). And those didn't go back in the box nicely either. On the outside, it may look frustrating. But I just think it's adorable.

Auntie fun!

This week Savannah got the opportunity to make cupcakes with her Aunt Shandell. She loved it and they made really yummy and good looking cupcakes. I'm greatful that she was able to do something fun with her Aunt. She loves hanging out with her.

My Angels..

So with Mother's Day coming up, I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father that he blessed me with my two beautiful daughters. They are truly the lights in my life and I vouldn't have asked for better children. I sometimes can't believe that the Lord trusted me with these two beautiful beings. But I am so happy to be able to call them mine.

Savannah loves her sister so much!

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful?

The girls watching cartoons.

Evelyn was trying to kiss Savannah.

My latest Creations...

Well I've done another cake! And I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. My Mary Kay Director was putting together the 2nd annual Spring Tea for her daughter's school. And she asked me to do a cake for it. So I thought about it and decided what I though would look "springy". Everyone loved it. Which made me feel like I had accomplished my goal. :) And the whole event was just wonderful. It's done the Sunday before Mother's Day and its a Mother/Daughter event. It's a chance for girls to get all dressed up in pretty dresses and hats and have time with mom. Or grandma. I'm going to take both of my girls to it next year. Just awesome!

I did it all by hand.
